Kovacs examines spectrum auctions, makes recommendations for congress

Anna-Maria Kovacs’ latest Economic Policy Vignette, “Neutral Spectrum Auctions: Maximizing Proceeds and Consumer Benefits,” examines whether or not auctions should be open to all bidders and if there should be conditions on the spectrum.  By looking at data from Auction 73, Kovacs’ analysis covers both how auctions can maximize their benefit to the treasury as well as to consumers.
