Mayo, scholars discuss state of the Center
During the annual State of the Center lunch, Executive Director John Mayo discussed the goals of the Center as well as some of the highlights of the past year’s events. Director Jeff Macher then discussed Demand in a Portfolio-Choice Environment: The Evolution of Telecommunications, an academic paper coauthored with John Mayo, Glenn Woroch and Olga Ukanheva. The Senior Industry & Innovation Scholar, Carolyn Brandon, followed with a discussion of how research like the piece Jeff discussed is able to impact the business and policy arenas. The program was rounded out by Brad Jensen discussing some of the future areas of research and focus for the Center.
