Join us to discuss the next phase of telecom policy

On Tuesday, October 9th we will host a Georgetown on the Hill event, “Is it Time to Unify Telecommunications Policy?  The Economic Evidence” featuring John Mayo.

This event will highlight the disparate regulatory structures facing firms that provide wired and wireless telecommunications and Internet services.  These regulatory structures were borne in a 20th century era of highly distinct technological delivery mechanisms and a lack of substitutability by consumers across these services.  Today we face a drastically changed technological landscape and yet have the same regulatory structures.  What unifying model might better serve as a basis for 21st century telecommunications policy?  John Mayo will discuss all this and more.  Join us!

This seminar series is designed to comply with all House and Senate rules for a widely attended event.
