John Mayo interviewed about proposed legislation that would impose domestic content quotas for audiovisual services in Mexico

With the ink not yet dry on the recent USMCA trade agreement, new legislation proposed in Mexico would impose a quota requiring that no less than 15 percent of all video streaming productions in Mexico be produced locally and independently from the current international platform firms.  

In this interview with the Consumer Choice Center, CBPP Executive Director John Mayo explores the economics of this proposal.
