Kathleen Abernathy joins the Center as a Senior Industry and Innovation Fellow

The Georgetown Center for Business and Public Policy is pleased to announce that Kathleen Abernathy, former FCC Commissioner (2001-2005) and current Special Counsel for Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP, has joined the Center as a Senior Industry and Innovation Fellow.

She has previously participated in Center events “Will Ideology Block Opportunity? Regulatory Reform in the Communications Sector” and “Wireless Technology and Policy Forum: Massive Broadband Network Densification: Unleashing the Opportunities of 5G,” and we are excited to glean further from her insight as she moderates the upcoming Georgetown on the Hill seminar: “Understanding the Basic Economics of the Internet: Building a Foundation for 21st Century Public Policy” on May 8, 2018.
