About

Marcia Brown Mintz joined the Georgetown Center as Managing Director in 2014. Previously, she served as Associate Provost of Georgetown University from 2003 to 2013 with a broad portfolio distinguished by policy development, analysis, planning, and communications.  Marcia has long held leadership roles working with and for the nation’s leading colleges and universities.  In the 1980s, she served as Assistant Dean in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University, and following that she was a consultant and managing director of Cambridge Associates LLC from 1989 to 2001.

Marcia currently serves as a Georgetown University Women’s Leadership Institute Senior Industry Fellow and is a founder and continuing member of the board of the Georgetown Scholarship Program, established in 2004 to attract and reinforce the success of first-generation college students and other undergraduates receiving need-based aid.  Her pro bono activity includes service to Vital Voices Global Partnership as Senior Advisor.
