The COVID-19 pandemic laid bare how important America’s digital infrastructure is to keeping the economy running, keeping us connected, getting us vaccinated, and allowing our kids to continue to learn. All industries and infrastructures have taken a hit during the pandemic, but digital infrastructure has proved resilient beyond expectation. The question Washington, D.C. is now addressing is how to bring broadband to the remaining Americans who don’t have it. A key ingredient to that will be funding from Congress and innovation and commitment from the broadband industry.
Join us on Wednesday, June 30th at noon ET as we talk with digital influencer and infrastructure visionary, Marc Ganzi who is President and CEO of DigitalBridge, a leading global investor and owner of mobile and internet infrastructure and fast-growing global digital infrastructure REIT. Marc will explain the world of “digital infrastructure” and why 5G needs to be part of the solution for closing the digital divide. We will also discuss how Marc thinks the digital infrastructure industry will evolve in the US, and how the billions in potential Congressional funding to close the digital divide might impact different parts of the value chain.
