John Mayo speaks with Brazilian academics and policymakers

Concurrent with the November release of his Economic Policy Vignette addressing vertical integration in the Brazilian multichannel audiovisual industry, Executive Director John Mayo traveled to Brasilia, Brazil to speak with Brazilian academics, regulators and policy officials. Following a formal presentation, John met with Senator Rodrigo Cunha to discuss the growing trend toward vertical integration in the audiovisual industry and the regulatory framework best suited for the rise of internet-enabled over-the-top provision of pay TV services.
