The Center for Business and Public Policy Provides Comments to the FTC on Cloud Computing

The Center’s comments below are meant to provide important information on the demand-side evolution on the usage of cloud-based services. To do so, we start by discussing how the provision of cloud-based services are changing the ways businesses access digital technologies and how they are enabling firm reorganization and performance across different types of businesses. Finally, we provide some policy considerations on supply-side constraints which may slow the diffusion of cloud-based services and subsequent performance of firms.
