On June 29, CBPP Executive Director John Mayo participated in a session on Telecommunications and Compliance at the 30th Annual Western Conference of the Center for Research in Regulated Industries. Mayo presented his recent paper, “Universal Service: Now It’s Getting Personal,” coauthored with Center scholars Jeffrey Macher, Olga Ukhaneva, and Glenn Woroch (Berkeley). The session also featured Tim Brennan (UMBC), Victor Glass (Rutgers) and Menahem Spiegel (Rutgers). The Center for Research in Regulated Industries, located at Rutgers University, aims to further study of regulation in economics, finance, and institutions.
