On October 2, Executive Director John Mayo participated as an invited panelist at the America Enterprise Institute’s program on “Will Broadband Be Affordable? Assessing Regulations for Broadband Subsidies”.

Among other comments, Mayo identified policy lessons for the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) program from prior attempts to stimulate telecommunications and broadband service deployment and adoption through subsidies. That comment can be found in the clip below.
